Marathon for 'G'

TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2016 · 16 October 2016 ·
On October 16th 2016, myself and my brother Harrison will be taking part in the Amsterdam marathon. We have decided to face this challenge in order to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK, to celebrate the life of our fantastic grandad 'G'.
G was very much into sport and regularly played tennis and racquetball right up until his diagnosis of bowel cancer in the summer of 2015. From a young age, he encouraged us to take part in any and every sport. He had us catching tennis balls as soon as we could walk! It seems a fitting tribute to G's sporting life to attempt this feat and hope that we can make him proud.
We hope to raise as much money as we can to help fight this terrible disease. G fought an incredibly brave but short battle. We hope that one day, the battle will be much easier for someone else's grandad. Any donations will be hugely appreciated to help spur us on during the gruelling training and the big race!
