15,000 Feet Tandem Skydive · 22 March 2017

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

Hey guys!

So I might be crazy and definitely afraid of heights but on the 22nd of March I have decided to do a 15,000 feet tandem skydive in an attempt to finish my time as Fundraising Officer for St John Ambulance on a high note (pun intended). Joining the Student Volunteering Unit at Exeter University has genuinely been one of the best decisions of my life; meeting some of the most amazingly selfless people. Training to be a St John Ambulance Volunteer myself I have seen the amount of work and time these volunteers give up. Both giving and teaching first aid in the local community, Exeter and beyond, the work that the charity does and the people within it can often be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

I really want to support this charity so much so I am throwing myself out of a plane. If you have a spare minute in which you can make a donation you know I will be eternally grateful. I want to stress that this is a self-funded jump so ALL DONATIONS WILL GO STRAIGHT TO THE CHARITY.

I will keep you all updated with pictures of me actually doing the skydive on the day, there is no backing out now! Lastly thank you so much for taking the time to read this and any support you can give is hugely appreciated. Xxx
