TCS New York City Marathon 2015 · 1 November 2015 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

If you know me, most of you will know that I recently returned from a 2year stint of travelling round Asia and Oceania... I had an incredible time - however, whilst living in China, my Aunt passed away due to a series of strokes... being so far away from home at the time, I was unable to attend the funeral and therefore, pay my respects, or otherwise say goodbye.

Running a marathon has always been a goal in the back of my mind - but, now, I'd like to make it that little bit more meaningful by running it in memory of Auntie Barbara - and helping to raise money for the Stroke Association who help to support stroke survivors, and their families, in a variety of ways.
