At MASH we stand with women who sex work, supporting them to experience better health, safety and emotional wellbeing. Our expert team and nurse supports women via our drop-in centre and our mobile van (a specially adapted camper van which we take out onto the streets late at night)

Story

Once upon a time in the 1950s there were some Manchester Uni students who missed the last train from Lancaster. They decided to walk the 55 miles back through the night but, due to their exhaustion, started hallucinating in the moors and were repeatedly haunted by a monster they called the Bogle.

Our Bogle walk is two loops (55 miles) around Manchester instead for MASH, a hugely relevant and important charity. Whilst the students of the 1950s had a home to walk back to, far too many women on the streets in Manchester don't have a safe place to sleep. MASH is a local charity which helps women in poverty who suffer from addiction, violence and mental health issues.
