Three Peak Challenge 2021

Nottingham Trent Three Peaks 2020 · 30 June 2020 ·
[Date of challenge extended to July 2021 due to Covid-19]
The Three Peaks Challenge is the effort to climb the three largest mountains in the UK consecutively (these are Ben Nevis, Scotland; Scafell Pike, England and Snowdon, Wales), hiking over 10,000 feet in elevation and around 23 miles in distance, all in the space of just one day.
I'm taking on this challenge because I'm really passionate about hiking and wanted to push myself both physically and mentally, and take my hobby to the next level. As it's a tough challenge, I wanted to use this opportunity to raise money for The Children's Society as I feel the work they do is absolutely vital, and I am very proud to be representing them and helping their cause. Please read below to get a sense of what they do.

The aim of TCS is to eliminate these disadvantages by making help and support accessible for disadvantaged young people in these very circumstances, whilst also using their voice within society to enhance equality, diversity and inclusion.
The charity’s current aims include:
The positive and effective impact The Children’s Society has already achieved within communities and for individuals, has been life changing.
