As an ex seafarer and mariner, I know that the sea can be a lonley place to work, away from your loved ones and friends for months and years at times.

I know the Mission to Seafarers very well as I have seen and experienced the work and comfort they give to millions to seafarers all over the world over the years I was at sea.

The Mission to Seafarers looks after everybody at sea, no matter what rank, nationalities and beliefs offering all sorts of help practical, emotional and spiritual.

The Mission to Seafarers was founded in 1856 and is entirely funded by voluntary donations.

I am participating in the London 10k run again this year on the 8th of July and running to raise money for the Mission to Seafarer.
