Story
Hello, I hope you are all doing well, and thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
My name is Abbie, and on the 26th of June, on my 16th birthday, I'm planning to go skydiving (15,000ft up, along side my dad!) and shall be shaving all of my hair off soon after on the 4th of July- raising money for the charity 'ActionAid'.
However big or small, your donation will make a real and lasting difference to people all over the world- transforming families and children's lives living in poverty.
ActionAid are working towards: Ending hunger, giving an education for all, helping with emergencies and conflicts, as well as supporting women's rights (http://www.actionaid.org.uk/about-us/what-we-do). This is a rather scary step for me but in a new chapter of my life I am looking forward to helping and supporting those less fortunate and in need of care; I hope that you can join me along the way.
My hair is currently 24'' inches long and will be sent to Little Princess Trust once it's cut off. Little Princess Trust is a charity in which provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their hair through cancer treatment (www.littleprincesses.org.uk)!
