As you know, I appear to have lost control of my senses and am going to jump from the roof of the manchester velodrome (that's 150ft, yes, 150 bloody ft!) on a peice of rope. 

I'd really, really appreciate it if you could sponsor me, on behalf of the Seashell Trust (formerly Manchester School of the Deaf) to throw myself of the roof. The charity funds a special school for sensory impaired children and adults who have little or no means of communication with the world.  Your sponsorship will help fund vital medical and therepeutic equipment, new bulidings, nurses and support staff that  help makle these people's lives a little easier and more enjoyable.

Please give anything at all, even 50p is 50p closer to a new multisensory room or adapted computer to help these children make a link to the outside world.   

As some of you know, I'm petrified of heights and my palms are actually sweating writing this, so I certainly won't be enjoying it (though I will enjoy the pint afterwards)!  So please, please dig deep and give yourself that warm feeling from doing something great :)

They'll be photographic evidence of my literal fall from grace on my facebook page after the event, so you can all have a good laugh as well!
