Story
IMPORTANT:
I am disappointed to update you that I will not be taking part in the marathon on Sunday. Since reaching 14 miles I have been having migraines away from and during running. Some so bad that I lose my sight (several times) whilst actually running.
I have done a lot of training and so would like to keep the money raised but will understand if you would rather have it back.
I will be doing a parachute jump in the summer to make up for it.
Pretty upset about it as I put a lot in to it, but it was starting to get me down.
Thank you for visiting my pages. xxxx
Update - 11th February 2010
I am up to about 10 miles in my training but jumped ahead a little on Sunday by running the Watford Half Marathon....boy that was hard work!!! I wanted to do it in 2:45 but it actually took me 2:52, so not far out, (although I was 3rd from the end!). I really enjoyed the sense of achievement but at this point don't know how I am going to run that distance twice in one go!
I will continue with the training and hopefully my endurance levels will continue to blossom!
Thank you to those who have taken the time to sponsor me. I really appreciate it. xxxx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am only running the Virgin London Marathon!!!!! Please, please sponsor me. I have less stamina than a tortoise and need your support to get me through!
Seriously, I have never done anything like this before and I am very excited about this opportunity.
I am running in honour of my wonderful, smiley, kind, funny and so very loving father-in-law who was a huge influence in my life and will continue to be through those he was dear to. Cliff Tester died tragically in 2006 of Pnuemococcal Meningitis at the age of 54. We were on holiday having a wonderful time and it all came to a horrific standstill as we lost a man so special in our lives. Cliff was an amazing father and for such a short while a doting grandfather to my beautiful daughter. He was also a friend whom I will never forget.
It would mean so much to me if you could help me raise money for this fantastic charity that has done so much for us as a family. The Meningitis Trust does so much for survivors of Meningitis as well as for the families of those who have been lost to this horrendous illness.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING ME. IT MEANS A LOT. WHEN I GET TO THE FINISH LINE I WILL BUY YOU A DRINK!!!
Love
