Age UK Westminster exists to promote the well being of older people in Westminster and help them to lead independent, fulfilling lives for as long as possible. We provide a wide range of services that reduce financial hardship, disadvantage and social isolation, for vulnerable older people.

Story

Dear Friend,

It is that time of year again, Tristan (Wings) O'Garro and Alex (Distance) Dalton are attempting to break the land speed record for the slowest 10K in history again, but this time we have many friends running with us.  2008 will see a total of nine people running the British Open 10K in aid of Age Concern Westminster; Marilene (Amazon) Marinho, Erica (Rainforest) Marinho, Richard (Grrrrrrreat!) Gregory, Robert (Machine) Herbert, James (Sidestep) Adamson, Walter (The Poet) Scott, Angelica (Ipanima) Da Silva and Edward (Eagle) Stockbridge.  We all hope to complete the course in under an hour this year.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Age Concern Westminster will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Alexander, Tristan, Marilene,

Erica, Richard, Robert, James, Walter,

Edward and Angelica.
