Chris Addison has run 14 Marathons before but his knees are giving out, Tom Addison has run 0 marathons and has a massive desire to make his dad feel old and inadequate. 

In a true test of family pride, we both entered a marathon to decide who can truly 'educate' the other in running.

However, rather than just bashing the hell out of each other, we chose to run to support a cause in our hearts, which is truly in need of exposure and donations. 

In 1984, a toxic gas leak from an industrial factory in the Indian city of Bhopal, lead to thousands of deaths and years of devastation. Since then the homes of local communities have been contaminated by the wastage from the gas leak. 

The Bhopal Medical Appeal are an inspirational charity who have supported the poor local communities torn apart by the disaster by providing free medical treatment. They continue to challenge the large foreign corporations responsible, to be accountable for their mistakes and help make the city a safe and clean place to live, something we all take for granted.

This is a cause that not many people have heard of, but we urge you to look into the disaster (chucked in a link below) and dig deep and cough up to help us please!

Every pound which you give, will have a huge impact and help those truly in need. It will also make every cold morning run, every minute of sweaty discomfort and every moment of regret for signing up to this, a little more bearable.
