My name's Adeen and I am doing a 5 day silence to raise money for Syria because the things going on over there are horrific and just plain wrong. 

I'm going to be honest and say that I really don't have a clue about the political things going on in Syria but all I know is that there are innocent people over there suffering and I want to help them.

There's a lot of talk in the news and most of it is about the political side of what is going on. I feel like people are forgetting that there are actually human beings out there suffering and it doesn't matter if their government is doing it to them or someone else's.

At the end of the day, we're all human, and even though there are evil people in this world, we should do our best to help other people who need help.

 I would be happy even if I raised enough money to change one person's life because if you think about it, it's a pretty cool thing.

This silence is going to be hard for me because I talk...a lot. The silence is going to be from the 1st of July to the 5th and I am going to update my online donaters by uploading a progress video every night for the 5 days of my silence.
