One in five of the human race are affected by an anxiety related  disorder such as G.A.D (generalized anxiety disorder) O.C.D, social anxiety or depression,  yet there remains a silent stigma attached to what is in effect a 'mental illness'.

Overcoming this requires treatment, understanding and most importantly a support network of family, friends and counsellors. I have been fortunate to have an amazing group of people in both the UK and Israel who continually help me through emotionally difficult times. Their strength has given me the inspiration to run a marathon - a challenge both physical and mental and something i've never done before.

Anxiety UK provides support, therapy and relief for those living with all types of stress-related illnesses as well as raising awareness of the condition.
