Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
In my own idiosyncratic way I wanted to take part in the London Marathon for two reasons.
Firstly, and most importantly, I am running for the Eden Hall Hospice in Hampstead which is local to me in NW3. The Hospice provides the best cancer care available to the terminally ill; my two close friends and neighbours recently passed away there. I would ask you, please donate as much as you can possibly afford to this worthy cause. Each £20 raised pays for 1 hour care in the hospice and your donation would really help.
Secondly and less importantly, I turn 50 in March 09 and I always promised myself to run at least 1 marathon.... so here we are, no more excuses.........
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
