We provide specialist palliative care to patients across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth in the Hospice and in patients' own homes. We need to raise £16,637 every day and with your support we can help our patients to live well right up until the end of their life and make every moment count.

Story

In September 2019, Myself and a local team  will be taking on the challenge of climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest mountain standing at 19340 feet ) for an amazing charity, Strathcarron hospice. This is an opportunity that I was given a couple of week ago due to a space opening up, and it’s one that I will certainly not be turning away. This is a once in a life time opportunity for such an amazing cause.

Strathcarron hospice is a charity which provide special palliative care for those with life changing illnesses that cannot be cured such as cancer, lung , heart and kidney failure, and many neurological diseases. Strathcarron hospice provides amazing care for those in need and need all the help they can get to continue doing the spectacular job they are doing.

In order to help Strathcarron in what they do, I will be climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro in September, my most challenging and rewarding task yet. Whether it is a £1 or more, and with only a couple of months to fundraise, anything helps,so any donation would be massively appreciated!
