FINISHED - 3hrs 31mins!  Place 4611th and 2nd Oxfam runner home!

I am 'lucky' enough to have been selected to run the London Marathon on behalf of Oxfam on 25th April 2010.

26 miles & 385 yards in imperial - 42.195 km in metric - stupid in English.

You may have heard the story of the Greek soldier Pheidippides who first ran this distance from The Battle of Marathon to Athens - unlike him on completion I will not be announcing that the Persians have been defeated by the Greeks - like him on completion I may collapse and die so please make it worthwhile and sponsor me!

Oxfam is a well known charity so I am sure you are aware how important it is to ensure it can continue it's work.

- Development... helping poor people find lasting answers to chronic poverty.

- Emergency response... helping people in crisis like those in Haiti.

- Campaign for change... why do millions drink dangerous water?  Go hungry?  Go without schools?
