In April 2017, Alex Wickens and Laurie Pennington will be running the Virgin London Marathon.

Having taken part in the Guide Dogs' Coniston Challenge in 2016 and looking for a new challenge, we decided to take on London 2017.

Both novice runners, we will be pushing ourselves through our training schedule with our goal to finish in under 4.5 hours.

Alex and Laurie both work for NFU Mutual and have supported Guide Dogs as our corporate charity.

Guide Dogs wants everyone who experiences sight loss to have the freedom to live life the way they choose.
