AbilityNet is a pioneering UK charity that provides free digital support to disabled adults and older people. Our vision is a digital world accessible to all. "I can do my appointments online now and know how to protect myself from scammers” - client supported by an AbilityNet Tech Volunteer

Story

I'm doing the Coventry Fun Run on 28 June to raise money for AbilityNet.... - £10 allows a disabled person access to online help - £15 will pay for in depth advice to be given from our 0800 freephone helpline. - £25 allows us to give technical support to one of our clients. - £50 will enable a carer or guardian to attend one of our assistive technology courses so they can support greater independence. - £100 pays for a senior consultant to link up to a disabled person's computer and work with them to provide the adjustments they need for free. - £750 covers the cost of providing a one- to- one assessment, installing the equipment, giving training and ongoing support for the lifetime of the equipment. - £1500 allows us to present an intensive "hands-on" training course to people who are providing assistance to disabled individuals - £3500 allows us to provide access to our SOS "Support One Stop" service for one person. They will be given a comprehensive, progressive assessment to identify the most suitable solution for their needs. They will then immediately receive appropriate hardware and software on loan while their permanent solution is acquired. They are then given their permanent solution as well as training and ongoing support. Most of us taking using a computer for granted. Your donation will help more people use their computer to connect to the outside world
