   !!!!   THE BIG 6   !!!!

After last years' huge success of the whole school cycling to Amsterdamn and Back in one week we are not just doing something different we are once more upping our game! 

 This year, we will be breaking 6 world records in a week.

                                           That's right we will be World Record holders!

As a college, we are setting out to break/set the endurance record for not just DRUMS, but GUITAR, BASS, KEYS AND VOCALS all at once, in the same week: together in the same room!

What does this mean for me? at least 36 hours of continuous singing.... 

IMAGINE THIS.........

You have a lie in on Saturday morning - we start singing.

You have lunch, we are still singing  YOU watch some tele or do some shopping, we are still singing  YOU sit down for tea as a family, we are still singing  YOU settle into a comfy bed for 8 hours sleep, we don't sleep and continue singing  YOU have another breakfast, go to church, visit friends, lunch, tea, housework, WE are still going, another nights sleep, NOT FOR US. Monday morning, you go to work or take kids to school. GUESS WHAT WE ARE DOING?

That third night rolls around, and I'm not sure if we will still be singing, but the drummers certainly are still sitting on stools having played 900 songs already, halucinating, limbs screaming out in pain, and when you wake up on TUESDAY morning, we will be falling off the stools in possession of 5 NEW records drumming at least - 72 HOUR + WORLD RECORDS.

WOULD YOU PLEASE CONSIDER WHETHER YOU CAN HELP MAKE THIS POSSIBLE AND HELP US CONTINUE AND EXPAND THE AMAZING WORK GOD IS DOING THROUGH NEXUS IN THE LIVES OF SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE.

 

AS AN 'EXTRA MILE' IDEA - WOULD YOU DOUBLE YOUR DONATION IF WE BREAK ALL 5 RECORDS??????
