Hi, I am Beau McKee (aged 10 (now 11) and my brother Alfie McKee (aged 12 (now 14) are fundraisers for Macmillan Cancer Support as is our Dad Gary.
In 2018 we ran every day throughout January and reached a distance of over 200 miles between us. Run January soon turned into run February which in turn became run March. So far I have ran a minimum of 3 miles every single day this year and plan to do so throughout 2018. At the end of 2018 I decided to run until 16th May 2019 which will be 501 consecutive days of running. Alfie is going to support me when he can. Lots of other people have ran with us too.
I know this challenge won't be easy but I will do my very best and if anyone wants to tag along please feel free to join us (by getting in touch with our Dad).
During the year we will be doing other fundraisers to try and raise as much money as we can. Our Dad is running the London marathon and also running the Fred Whitton which is 112 miles and 12 000 feet of ascent. He is running it in 24 hours. Other people have also done fundraisers on my behalf.
I want to raise as much money as possible so I can help more people.
