Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year, on our regular Saturday morning dog walk, I told our friend Judy about a new event Battersea Dogs and Cats home were launching - the Strayover. Teams of 5 would sleep rough for a night at Battersea Dogs home to highlight the plight of stray dogs and raise money for the legendary and fabulous Battersea to rescue them and find them their forever homes.

She hooted with laughter at the thought of us sleeping tough, said that we must do it and rallied a team. Sadly Judy died unexpectedly in January and we miss her dreadfully - we have kept her place open so there will be just 4 of us in the team.

We know she will be looking down on us (hopefully drinking cocktails with George Michael) laughing and applauding any money we raise. And we get to name a stray dog once we have completed the night. I think Jude or Judy will be a fine name...
