Alice's (BIG!) Hair Cut · 7 July 2016

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page!

I am Alice Gates. I have decided to have my first haircut. I'm nearly 12 years old and measured from the top of my head, my hair is 78cm long! I will donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust. (littleprincess.org.uk). They provide real hair wigs for children across the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. I think I'm very lucky to be able to grow my hair and I am very pleased to be able to help another child.

(Did you know, Harry Styles donated his hair to this cause?!)

I would like to ask you to sponsor my haircut so that I can also raise money to donate to my favourite charity, Willberry Wonder Pony. (willberrywonderpony.com

The charity was set up by 18 year old Hannah Francis, who has been fighting bone cancer since May 2015. The funds raised go towards bone cancer research, and granting horsey wishes to those with serious illnesses. I truly admire Hannah as an equestrian, and for her amazing courage and spirit. I have been following her story for a few months and she is an inspiration to me.

I would be so grateful if you could donate some money towards my fundraising. Even a small amount makes a big difference! I will post some pictures on this page of my hair after the cut!
