Glass Door Sleep Out 2017 · 6 October 2017 ·

about 350 individuals slept on the pavement at Duke of York Square at Glass Door's FIFTH annual Sleep Out. Sponsor an individual or team to help get someone off the streets this winter.

Story

On Friday 6th October Alicia and Jane from the St Luke's & Christ Church Parish office will be braving the cold and rolling out their sleeping bags on the pavement. Why? To join hundreds of people including Revd Brian and his wife Ramani on the Duke of York Square, Chelsea on a mission to raise vital funds to provide lifesaving shelter and life changing support to people who are homeless.

St Luke's and Christ Church are huge supporters of local homeless charity Glass Door, so we really want to do our bit to make a difference. Glass Door operates London's largest emergency winter night shelters, providing refuge from the cold, harsh and frightening reality of sleeping on the streets. Everyone deserves a place to feel safe, and have their basic needs met so they can make positive changes for their future. Anything you can donate will make such a difference to the lives of such vulnerable men and women who need a helping hand to get back on their feet.
