Well, in honour of my 30th birthday this year, I thought I ought to set myself a bit of a challenge and climbing Kilimanjaro seemed like a good idea at the time!

Now, as the October departure date is fast approaching I'm not so sure. I've now embarked on a crash course at the gym to hopefully see me through.

A couple of years ago I visited Sumatra and saw the orangutans. They were such beautiful and curious creatures that I decided it would be truly awful to let them disappear.
