Abseil for Autism · 14 May 2016

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Firstly thank you very much for visiting our team page.

On Saturday the 14th  of May a number of us will be abseiling 50 Bank Street at Canary Wharf all in the name of charity.

Given that we work with buildings everyday we thought the next logical team fundraiser should be to abseil one. Even after the irony of a few members admitting to their fear of heights, the brave amongst us will be taking on this challenge for The National Autistic Society.

The NAS is the leading charity for those individuals living with autism in the UK and their families, carers and colleagues who together make up approximately the 2.8 million affected. The NAS endeavour to support them at every stage of life: from diagnosis, through education and transition into adulthood and older age.

We have been fundraising for The NAS for two years now and have helped to raise a considerable amount in donations by taking part in fundraising events in the past. We hope to continue our support by taking part in this event so any donations made would be most appreciated and we thank you in advance for your kind support.
