As its my 21st this year I decided to do something a little different and ask people to donate to charity, rather than getting me presents!

This foundation is very close to my heart and was set up in memory of my wonderful friend Allie who passed away when she was just 17.

'Set up by Rob and Lindsey Wylie in memory of their daughter, Alexandra, AWTF works in partnershipwith Kids Company http://www.kidsco.org.uk/ - which is the established leader in supporting vulnerable inner city children in London. AWTF supports the causes about which Allie felt passionately and is firmly rooted in the local area of North London. Alexandra impressed everyone with her love for life and she was vehemently against any form of social exclusion. We work with a Kids Company keyworker, based in North London, who identifies and prioritises areas of need. AWTF initially provides support to children who are in need of basic things like food or clothing. We then look at areas where the physical, emotional or intellectual life of a child could be significantly improved by an intervention we are able to fund.'

So if you were going to get me a freddo for my birthday, then why not put your 20p towards a cause that means a lot to me, the foundation and all the lucky kids that will be given a shot at a brighter future!
