Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My Dad, Tony Cook was a great man, a fantastic husband, father and grandfather, and loved and respected by all who knew him. After a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer on January 3rd of this year, he sadly died on the 11th. Throughout this time he kept his dignity and just wanted to ensure that his family were alright.
He is sadly missed, and I am doing a relay for life on Saturday 12th July in his memory at Monkton stadium in Jarrow. It will go on all night and will involve running and camping. Anyone who know me will be aware that these are skills that will not come easily to me, so i ask you to dig deep, for an excellent cause, and in memory of a wonderful man.
My employer (Jobs@Pertemps) will match anything I raise up to £500 so it would be amazing if I could reach that target.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
