The lovely Angela Casey and I have taken the brave decision to take part in this years Iain Rennie Goodnight Walk. I say brave because poor Angela will have to put up with me moaning throughout training and I'll have to get used to the idea of moving my rather considerable bulk under my own steam rather than relying lazily on my car (as the locals among you know I regularly do!).

We've chosen Iain Rennie's Goodnight Walk because they do an incredible job which touches the lives of hundreds each year. Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH) supports local patients with life-threatening illness to stay at home, through a combination of day hospice care and 24/7 call-out care in patients' homes across Herts and Bucks. The charity offers support for all the family following diagnosis, during the illness and after bereavement; all these services are offered at no cost to the patient or family.
