Story
Hi guys,
As some of you may or may not know, in February 2007 my little sister Luci was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 13. As you can imagine this was a massive shock for our entire family, and the treatment lasted for 2 and a half years.
During this incredibly difficult time we were helped massively by the guys from CLIC Sargent, as they helped on the ward at the hospital which we spent a lot of time at, and even came to the house to treat her when she was not well enough to travel there. The CLIC nurses helped to save my sister's life, and she has now been cancer clear for over a year, however she will be monitored by the CLIC nurses at the hospital for some time.
As you imagine, I am extremely grateful to this charity for all their help, as the CLIC nurses are funded purely by donations. Myself and Luke are running the Bupa Great South Run on the 24th October 2010 and raising money for the charity CLIC Sargent.
So please help us to keep this amazing charity going and donate as much as you can.
Thank you so much from Aly, Luke, Luci and the O'Reilly family
