Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I'm a part of the Movement for Hope team running at the first all inclusive mini marathon with disabled and non-disabled participants at the iconic Olympic Park!
Our team is running the 5K in aid of research support, awareness-education, and adaptive equipment for people disabled by brain and spinal cord conditions!
This campaign started when one of the Movement for Hope board members, Sarah Ezekiel, who has MND and asked us if our team would help her to run in this race by pushing her wheelchair. Our team is delighted to be a part of this special moment for so many mixed-ability individuals!
The funding from this campaign will go toward adaptive equipment for a person who has been newly diagnosed with a neurological condition.
For all of you that know me, know that I'm finishing my PhD and it's unlikely that I will get too much opportunity to train at all for this, so it's going to suck a little, but I will live! Haha Thanks for your support!
