Never thought I'd ever do one and now I'm training for my 2nd marathon - this time in the beautiful scenery of Medoc near Bordeaux....only this time there are over 20 food and wine stops along the way to dangerously tempt me.

Well I did it!!!! And I did it in 5hrs 17mins 42secs  (that's 31mins & 16secs faster than last year's marathon!) 

I have to say it was certainly one of the most entertaining runs I've ever done - the costumes were amazing and the atmosphere "merry" - that could have been down to the wine stops at every km!!
