Link believes all children have the right to a good quality education. We work with schools and communities in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda. By sharing and developing skills we are bringing about long-lasting change, helping over a million children have a better start in life.

Story

This spring, I, along with hundreds of students from all over the UK will hitchhike to Morocco to raise money for this charity. The money that you donate (thanks!) will be sent directly to Link to fund their numerous sustainable programs. A small fraction of that money will be used to track my process, so that I don't disappear. Link is a great charity which focuses it's forces on education. I highly reccomend perusing their website to find out more. "LCD's vision is of a future where children are given a chance to flourish and fulfill their potential. Our mission is to improve the potential of disadvantaged people in Africa to gain meaningful employment by sharing and developing appropriate skills through education and training. We believe that education is a basic human right and fundamental to breaking the cycle of poverty." Hitching to Morocco is a wonderful idea! Just think, not only will money you donate to me be used to better the lives of people throughout Africa, but also, every person who helps me along my journey will learn about The Hitch, and about Link, and perhaps be inspired to donate or act as well. It really is a very powerful idea, and I'm very excited to take part. If you'd like to learn more about The Hitch at the University of Edinburgh please go to http://hitch.eusa.ed.ac.uk/ THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR DONATIONS!!! LOVE Ana
