Our Vision A world where children and adults with special needs have access to the same opportunities as others to fulfil their life ambitions; a world where we can all live safely with dignity, respect, and quality care. MAD-Aids outputs and achievements to date: * Re-used in Moldova 800+ tonnes of good quality equipment and furniture that otherwise would have had to be shipped off the Isle of Wight to the mainland for disposal * Refurbished and distributed 700+ wheelchairs that otherwise would have been scrapped, leading to mobility for 700+ disabled children and adults in Moldova * Delivered hospital aid to Moldova, Bulgaria, Belarus, Ukraine, and Africa * Contributed significant improvements to hospital wards in Moldovan hospitals * Diminished environmental damage in the UK from the disposal of this equipment in a landfill * Renovated an abandoned and dilapidated kindergarten and opened the first modern centre for children and teens with special needs Phoenix Centre
