My Story

On 14th April 2014 I donated my stem cells as part of a life saving transplant. It was awe inspiring to think that the bag of stem cells removed from the machine at the end of the day was a life line for someone I had never met.

Later that year I received an update that the patient's body had accepted the transplant and that they were recovering well. Without Anthony Nolan and its fantastic staff this person may have never found a donor and I would have missed out on one of the best experiences of my life.
