Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I worked with The Vegan Society through COP26 last year and on one of their campaigns and that's why I'm supporting them through running the Brighton Marathon.

This quote neatly summarises why I'm vegan. It's pretty straightforward. 

Will I suffer? Probably. But not for very long AND I have a choice in the matter. As humans we are unique amongst animals in that we control every aspect of the planet and as such we have a responsibility to not wreck it. Currently we aren't doing a great job. 

In the UK (just the UK) in 2022 we have already purposefully killed over 1.4 million land animals (this stat doesn't include marine life). There's no benefit to them or us to do this. 

Global warming is happening with 18 percent of all greenhouse gases being attributed to animal agriculture.

Do It's easier than ever to be vegan ... try signing up Plate Up for the Planet 2021 for some recipes. 

Donate if you can but mainly, please, be vegan. It's the best charitable thing you can choose to do every day.
