Tim and I succesfully rode The Ridgeway on 27th and 28th June 2009.

The ride was to raise money in memory of Toria Crossland, a brave h girl who was taken from us far too early by CF.

We started at Avebury on Saturday morning and ended our day at Watlington Hill, some 60 miles later.

On Sunday we started again at Watlington Hill, knowing that the last stretch was even hillier than the first, especially with fatigued leg muscles! Depsite navigational problems we completed the ride after the final push to the summit of Ivinghoe Beacon.

The ride is almost entirely off-road and is both technically and physically demanding at all times.

Distance cycled - 93.6 miles

Time in saddle - 9 hours and 52 minutes.
