as I suspect it might be, would some of you be kind enough to sponsor me for 18 hours of Silence to raise some funding for much needed research into M.E.?  (My daughter and sister both have this awful illness, see: www.afme.org.uk for more details on the illness).

I aim, with the help of a large piece of Elastoplast, to be totally silent from on 15^th May through to on 16^th May (across the weekend).

Next week is M.E. Awareness Week, and I shall be sending all monies donated to the charity Action for M.E.
