Story

Thanks for visiting this page and listening to our song. Please help us support this worthwhile cause.

Pear Town Ukes is a community ukulele group based in Perton, Staffordshire. Group founder, Julie Gorman, wrote this song in recognition of the exceptional work done by medical staff during the ongoing pandemic.

As a group, we would normally be making arrangements for Christmas concerts or busking carols to collect for charity at this time of year, but obviously that's not possible in 2020! Instead, we have produced a recording of this song from various individual and group performances, layered together with some computer wizardry!

The song is out now on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more! Download or stream it here! peartownukes.com/angels

All proceeds from song sales and streaming will be donated to our local hospital charity. As the money per sale is only pennies (and for streaming, even less) we are holding out a virtual bucket for additional donations via this page. Anything you can give is very much appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
