Story

Hi everyone!

First of all, Jenny, Adam, Rachel and I would like to say thank you.
This is huge for us but would be a huge nothing without your support.

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity
A quick word about the charity and Helen. Helen Rollason was an exceptional person. She was a sports presenter at a time when female sports presenters didn't really exist. A self proclaimed sports nut she worked her way from a being PE teacher to covering the 1988 olympics, earning herself an M.B.E. for her services to broadcasting and charity.

In 1997, she was diagnosed with colon cancer but, being a typical sportswomen, wasn't going to let a little thing like illness stop her. Instead, she threw herself into charity work, produced a documentary of her ordeal fighting cancer and managed to raise £5 million before she passed away. She died at the age of 43.

Set up in her memory, the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity's main roles involve funding research labs, cancer drug trials and runing cancer support centres for patients and their families. Tandem Skydive
This will be happening at Cambridge airfield. You are all, of course, invited to
come along and laugh at us as we plummet 10,000 feet. After all your help,
how could we deny you such entertainment?

The Big Day
The skydive booking fee is £70 per person so as soon as we as
we hit that £280 mark we'll be booking and giving you a date.

All us have lost somebody to this terrible disease and will probably lose
more friends to it in the furute. It's charities like Helen Rollason however
that provide the treatments and support needed to combat cancer and
hope for us all in the future.

So, please dig deep and donate now!

Thankyoooooooou,
Sarah de Lewandowicz
