At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

On Sunday 28th July our team will descend upon Knowle Golf Club in Bristol in the early hours of the morning and attempt to complete 72 holes of golf unaided by buggies!

During this challenge our team expects to:-

1) Walk on average 80 miles although could be more on the final round!

2) Hit more than 1,500 golf shots

3) Lose (at least) 30 golf balls

4) Start at 5.30am and finish before 9.30pm before the light fades away

5) Burn approximately 32,000 calories between us (Golf is a very good sport for Health & Fitness!)

6) Suffer cramp, blisters, chaffing, triple bogies, hook, pull, shank and slice shots!

7) Shout fore right or fore left about 50 times!

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY - raise as much money as possible for MacMillan Cancer Support.

SO PLEASE PLEASE dig into your pockets and donate as much as you can to this mamouth mission and do something extra-ordinary for people affected by cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
