On March 1st myself and some colleagues shall run the Barcelona marathon.  There are many hugely worthwhile charities that can be supported, but I have decided to support a charity that is working to find a solution to Alzheimers.  If you have had first hand experience of the effects Alzheimers has on a friend or loved one you will agree that it is something incomprehendable, frustrating, sad and unfair.

I have been following the research of the Alzheimer´s Society and believe that, with support, a breakthrough in treatment is possible and in reach.  It is this that has inspired me to get behind the charity, and in a small way help to prevent this illness having a devestating effect on lives in the future.
