Belfast Half marathon · 22 September 2013 ·

This year at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice we cared for over 370 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, in both our inpatient unit - Horizon House and in the local community. We rely on your generous donations to continue to fund our vital services.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided that I am going to run the Laganside 10k and the Belfast half Marathon as a way to raise money for the local NI hospice that changes the lives of many. Having never done running events before I am willing to not let this challenge defeat me, and do all that I can to fund the Hospice. Illness effects majority of our familes at some stage in our lives, so a little donation may make a huge difference!!

NI Hospice offer high quality care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their parents and carers. They tailor their service to the needs of each individual. They aim to meet emotional, social and spiritual needs as well as physical ones, enabling children and young people to make the most of their lives within the limitations of their illness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you all very much!!

xx
