Story
Our mum was amazing and she inspired us to make the most of life every day. So we are doing a cycle ride in her memory to raise money for the ICR so they can help stop other people dying from cancer.
We are going to ride across England from the Cumbria coast to the North Yorkshire coast. We'll be riding about 250-300 kilometres over some very big hills in the Lake District and Yorkshire Moors. We think it will take 4-5 days and we plan to eat lots of cake along the way! We are setting off on 28th May with our dad Bjorn, friends James & Mary and their parents Mark & Nina Watson.
We have started training. Riding every weekend with our cycling club CCH (Cycling Club Hackney) and our dad. Also we will be doing a 75km ride with our CCH friends in memory of Mum on May 7th, and some people in the club will ride over 150 km that day.
We'll send updates on our training and progress. Please donate what you can to the ICR because they are doing vital research. They don't spend a lot on publicity so that means your money will go directly to funding research into new treatments for cancer.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
