Ataxia UK fund research to improve the diagnosis and treatment of the various forms of Ataxia. Ataxia is the principle symptom in a group of rare neuroloical disorders called the cerebeller ataxia, most of which is progressive. Ataxia sufferers have problems with co-ordination as a result of the parts of the nervous system that controls balance and co-ordination being affected by the disorder.

There is currently no treatment, no cure and no one has ever recovered. All money raised from the event will go directly to finance the ongoing research to find a cure. For more details go to http://www.ataxia.org.uk/
