I did it! After a long hot 5.51 hours I crossed the finish line! Exhausting but immensley rewarding!

Thank you so much to those who came out to watch and cheer on, your support was unbelievable and much needed! I was slightly concerned when I hit my 'wall' at 11 miles, but managed to continue and overtaking Jordan and Peter at 15 miles was a very good feeling!

Never doing it again! Seriously

As many of you know I have taken the rather stupid steps in agreeing to run the London marathon in 6 months time. The majority laughed when finding out about my ambitions and I'm not going to lie, as I couldn't even run a mile in August, your laughing was completely justified!

However one of my life's ambitions, running a mile, was accomplished in August (I am still yet to do the cartwheel) and so, along with my friend from school Becca, I decided that the next step, naturally, was to take on the mighty marathon.

But I am not just running in a vain hope of keeping fit, there is also the aim of raising an awful lot of money for charity, and this is where your half of the bargin comes in; yes, being someone I know means that you have to sponsor me to spur me on through those very painful times of the 26 miles!

We have both got places to run for the very good cause of Leukaemia Care, one particularly close to Becca's heart as her brother has suffered from it twice. So put your hand deep into your pocket, well preferably a wallet with a wad of cash in it and please donate!
