Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
Rob and I have taken leave of our senses and agreed to abseil down Derby Cathedral Tower in aid of the Ron Beddoes Outdoor Centre at The Dukes Barn,Beeley. As you can see, we are comfortable walking in the Peak District, but have now committed to a more demanding activity!
I am terrified at the prospect of abseiling down the tower. It is a Very Tall Tower, at 212 feet it is the third tallest Cathedral Tower in England and I have said I will not go down for less than £1 a foot. We will be very happy if we raise £500 between us.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dukes Barn Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thanks to your generosity we have reached £500 already. So with a further three days to go we have raised our target. We are extremely gratified by the support we are receiving and thank you all very much.
Rob and Annette
