As you may have found out, the Anne Wall Centre is a purpose built centre for the support of deafblind people located in the heart of Barnet.
You know Sense is the leading charity for deafblind children and adults.
Deafblindness is a combination of both sight and hearing difficulties. Very often the deafblind people we support have associated disabilities – both physical and learning. At the furthest end of the spectrum we support deafblind people who have no formal communication skills; people with multiple complex needs.
It is very difficult to imagine what it might be like to be deafblind, but just think about that for a moment….
An amazing team of professionals work tirelessly to provide a range of opportunities that allow all the deafblind people we support the chance to be active citizens just like you and I.
Opportunities to create art, to cook, to go to work, to relax in the sensory room or the pool. The list goes on, but things that we all take for granted.
By choosing to support Sense you will be making a difference to some of the 250,000 people who are deafblind in the today, so please give generously.
