At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this thing, not only for two wonderful people, but for everyone who gets a shitty cancer

My Father in Law Roger is like my own real Dad. He gave me away at my wedding to his son Phil, as my own Dad passed away in 1997.

I think the world of Roger. He was diagnosed with myeloma 2 years ago. It's a blood cancer. He went from being a very active retired fellow to not being able to even drive his car. He has endured cycles of chemo, stem cell treatments and taken lots of nasty drugs  he's not keen on.

He's got on top of it. He's getting well again. He's gardening and driving and even been working a bit!

Macmillan played a part in his recovery so I'd like to do something to give back to them.

I'm also doing this in honour of Mr Ben Vidler, my old boss and friend who was larger than life and after touching so many lives with his own he lost his to a cancer just before last Christmas.

My log in name on here is Anniekins, as that's what he used to call me (amongst other things).

I'm determined to raise as much as I can as I know he'd expect nothing less.

Please give as little or as much as you can.

Thank you
