We care for patients with a range of needs including symptom management, rehabilitation as well as end of life care. Our goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for our patients and their loved ones in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment.

Story

Our amazing wee girl, Aoibhi, has asked if she could get her Rapunzel-like hair cut. She would like to donate the hair to The Little Princess Trust who make and supply wigs to children who have lost their hair through illness or medical treatment. We hope to go for the chop before she returns on school on August 16th.

She also asked if she could raise money for St Andrew’s Hospice. It was here that her Grandpa, George, was cared for in 2015 and she knows how well they looked after him.

She is truly an amazing girl and we couldn’t be more proud of our daughter.

St. Andrew’s Hospice endeavours to provide a high standard of specialist palliative care to the people of Lanarkshire, encompassing human dignity and compassion. As Lanarkshire's only specialist palliative care hospice, we provide multidisciplinary support for our patients, their families and carers. Whilst we receive funding from NHS Lanarkshire and other sources, this only partially covers our running costs. Continued provision of these services is only made possible by the generosity and assistance of the people of Lanarkshire.
