This year APS have chosen to support the Thames Valley Air Ambulance service. 

Speed is imperative for survival with major trauma incidents, and the helicopter can be anywhere within Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire within 15 minutes from their base at RAF Benson. 

Unlike the average land ambulance, the helicopter and emergency response vehicles are manned by a paramedic and doctor team. With a doctor on board, they can bring the skills and expertise of a hospital to the scene of an incident.
